Senior Class Trip to Washington DC - April 1969
A four sport athlete, Nelson lettered in Baseball, Football, Basketball and Track. He was Varsity Club Vice President and President, a member of the Chess Club. Nelson was Class Treasurer in his senior year. He was such a good friend to us all.
It was with sadness that we shared with you that our teacher, John Mantyck has passed away on December 31, 2020. He was such a wonderful person who cared so much for all of us. He was often present at our reunion gatherings sharing memories and stories of his years at PCHS. He was blessed with a great life, and we all think of him with fond memories.
Thank you to all who traveled from far and near. We are so glad you took the time and effort to come. Your presence made this event special. It was so great to catch up with each other and reminisce. We took time to remember those who could not be there.
This was a very nice gathering at Lakelands Country Club at Winans Lake. I think we had a Prom there! The weather was gorgeous, the laughs were plenty and the stories will remain to ourselves!
This was a very nice gathering at Whispering Pines Country Club. For many, it was the first time we saw classmates since we graduated. There were lots of stories and laughs.
The Pirate Log Staff provided the students of PHS with a permanent history of their school year. Mr. Weber directed the team who spent countless hours preparing this “Book of Memories”. You may notice we had a dress code. For the guys, shirts were tucked, hair off the collar and for the ladies, skirts or dresses were the order of the day.
